Harmony Women’s Healthcare was established in May of 2018 by Dr. Linzi Stewart, D. O., F.A.C.O.O.G. At Harmony, we strive to provide excellent healthcare to women throughout all walks of life. In addition to providing comfort and care to our patients during new, difficult, and especially in stressful times, we also cherish celebrating with them during moments of joy and happiness.

We are thrilled to welcome you as a patient into our practice! But before we get to know you, we’d like to invite you to get to know a bit more about us!

What to Expect

 

Paperwork

 

We ask that all new patients please fill out a brief health history. This can be done online via the form below; please fill out, print, and bring a copy with you to your appointment. You may also fill out the necessary paperwork at the office; if you choose to do so, please arrive 20-30 minutes early to ensure you have time to fill it out.

Insurance

 

All patients must bring proof of insurance, a valid driver’s license, and co-pay to every visit. Insurance company contracts state that we must collect co-pays at the time medical services are provided. It is not uncommon for insurance companies to require a referral from a primary care physician before an appointment with an OBGYN can be made. Please verify if your insurance requires such a referral prior to the date of your appointment.

 

Prescriptions

 

Prescription refills can be placed during office hours. The on-call physician will not be able to provide any prescriptions or refills after regular office hours. Please keep this in mind when placing a prescription. To place an order for a prescription refill, you’ll need to contact your pharmacy and let them know the medicine you need; your pharmacy will then fax a refill request to our office. A nurse will then fill out the required information and fax it back to the pharmacy. Please allow for up to 24-48 hours for the prescription to be refilled.

 

Office Visit

 

We strive to see each patient in a timely manner and as close to her appointment time as possible. With that being said, due to the nature of the practice, such as pre-mature deliveries and hospital emergencies, there may be times when our office is behind or appointments need to be rescheduled. If/when such an event occurs, we ask for your patience and sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience it may create.

Questions

 

We are always happy to answer any questions you may have! However, please be aware that during certain appointments we may only be able to discuss topics related to that particular appointment. For example, if a patient were to be scheduled for a “well-woman” exam and topics unrelated to the reason for that appointment were to be discussed, that patient’s insurance company may not pay for that visit. Please let us know the full array of issues you intend to discuss at your appointment at the time of scheduling.

 

Test Results

 

Most test results will be available on your patient portal. Please make sure that you have signed up and are active; if you are not and need help, please contact our front desk for assistance. Please bear in mind that some of the lab work we order can take days or even weeks to be completed.

After Hours Coverage

 

It is important to note that calls after office hours and on weekends should be limited to emergencies only. No appointment scheduling or medications will be called in after hours or on weekends.
